Office for Small Engineering Business

The client, a small engineering business, was moving to new premises. Based in Portsmouth, the company operated internationally, including in the middle east, and wanted a contemporary, well designed office in which they could welcome their discerning UK and oversees clients.

The brief: to design and furnish an integrated office, to include 3 desks, office chairs, comprehensive storage, to design and furnish an integrated office, to include 3 desks, office chairs, comprehensive storage, printer storage, and a small meeting area. As the space was limited, the design needed to be flexible. The client requested ample storage to accommodate existing files and paperwork and space for printers. The meeting table and seating needed to be comfortable and stylish but compact. The Flujo team made a thorough assessment of the client’s needs and produced a plan which incorporated floor to ceiling cupboards against one wall, additional filing cabinets, under-desk pedestals, two large L-shaped desks and a third, smaller desk. Flujo also recommended a foldaway meeting table plus a printer cupboard for storing the printer and consumables.

The product range chosen was Las Mobili in a white-grey finish, as this provided the contemporary look, but at an economical price. Flujo delivered the complete project within 6 weeks, including design, specification, delivery and installation.
