Glen Oliver Löw has achieved a refreshing interpretation of the cantilevered chair for Thonet. Its quality is reflected in the moulded plywood seat with countersinking in the back area. This provides structuring for the surface and creates flexibility as a functional detail. The back and seat provide comfort with soft cushioning. In the S 60 product range the armrests represent attractively shaped connecting elements between the two parts of the frame – a steel tube which is larger towards the front and smaller towards the rear, and which extends around the back.
