The first problem is that – the washer does not work and makes no noise –

So, for that first check that the washer is plugged in securely, also inspect the circuit breaker or the fuse box, next, test the outlet for the current. Also, it is important to check that the water supply valves are properly turned on. Check the filter screens, test if there is any kind of overheating, check the water level switch and check the timing controller, then other areas where you need to check is the lid switch, water inlet valve, and water pump. Also, make sure that you test the centrifugal switch and the motor.

The second problem is that – the washer does not work, but it does make a noise –

In such a situation you need to check that the water supply valves are turned on, do the inspection of the filter screens, do the testing for overheating, do the inspection of the water pump, do the testing of the water inlet valve, and test the motor.

These are some of the repairs that can be carried out at home.

The third problem is that – there is no water entering the wash tub -no cold or no hot water –

In such a scenario, you need to check that the water supply valves are turned on, check the water supply hoses for any kind of kinks, inspect the filter screens, do the testing of the water level switch, do the testing of the water temperature switch, check the timer control, water inlet valve testing should also be done.

The fourth problem is that – the water fills the washtub too slowly –

So, you should check that the water valves are turned on to the full, then inspect the water pressure at the tap, check the filter screens, and do the testing of the water inlet valve.

The fifth problem is that – the tub does not fill with enough water –

In such a situation, you ought to test the water level switch and check that the drain hose is positioned as high as the top of the inner tub.

The sixth problem is that – the water overflows the wash tub –

In this issue, you need to test the timer control, check the water level switch, check the air tube for any kind of damage, and check the water inlet valve.

The seventh problem is that – the water drains out during the wash cycle or rinse cycle –

So, for this, you should inspect the drain control lever, test the drain control coils, check the cam bar, and do the testing of the timer control.

The eighth problem is that – the wrong temperature of the water is used –

During such a situation, you need to know that water supply hoses can be reversed, hot or cold-water supply valve can be turned off, or the water supply hose may be kinked. So, you should check the water inlet valve.
